Mixer and ITIS Ravenna: a learning journey

In 2021, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the founding of Mixer, we launched a collaboration with ITIS Nullo Baldini in Ravenna, specifically designed for students in the chemistry program. This initiative has enriched their educational experience while also representing a source of inspiration and learning for us.

The project with the chemistry course

As part of this collaboration, during last winter and spring we have organized tailored visits to our facilities, focusing on topics covered throughout the school year. From guided tours in our lab for the fifth-year classes – and a classroom focus on polymers, to in-depth discussions on solid transportation in the factory for the fourth-year classes, we aimed to make learning both engaging and practical, with demonstrations by our team. Additionally, for the third-year chemistry classes, we conducted interactive sessions, introducing students to Mixer through a curated selection of questions.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to students who have shown exceptional interest in their respective fields. Federico Solaroli, Alice Porfiri, Viola Lombardi, Sabrina Abbondandolo, and Vittorio Corsini have been awarded a scholarship, recognizing their outstanding dedication to their studies. Before the summer holidays, they had the opportunity to spend a day in our lab, gaining valuable hands-on experience and further enriching their educational journey.

A new experience with information technology students

This year marked an expansion of our project as we welcomed fifth-year informatics students to witness automation processes, digitalization, and information systems firsthand. We are thrilled to have provided them with insights into the intersection of technology and industry, empowering them to explore new horizons.

The journey continues

On October 12th, we held an award ceremony and scholarship presentation. Mixer’s CEO Andrea Galanti and school director Antonio Grimaldi handed out the scholarships, with Greta Faccani, Mixer’s Communication and Marketing Manager, also in attendance.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to ITIS Ravenna for their partnership and support throughout this endeavor. Additionally, we extend our appreciation to the entire Mixer’s team whose dedication and enthusiasm have been instrumental in bringing this project to fruition.

As we celebrate the achievements of these bright minds, we remain committed to supporting education and inspiring future generations. Together, we continue to pave the way for a brighter, more innovative future.
